About Jini Carlson

Jini Carlson is a 2nd generation massage therapist. Her mother, Wilma, took up massage at age 60 and continued seeing clients until the day she died at age 82.

Before entering the healing field, Jini spent 20+ years working as a Purchasing Manager. The stress and pressures of her career resulted in a physical collapse in 1993, which left her with Fibromyalgia, CFS and high blood pressure. This experience gave her a deep understanding for one’s need to properly handle stress and eliminate physical pain.

Jini is named after an airplane. Her mother knew what she wanted to name her, but didn’t like any of the spellings she had found. At 3 days old, still in the hospital, and no name yet on the Birth Certificate, her mom picked up the Kansas City Star, and on the front page was a picture of an WW II nose art Consolidated B-24 Liberator spelled J-I-N-I. She said, “that’s it”, and the rest is history. Jini had an unexplainable fascination for airplanes as a young child – and her first real job was an airline stewardess with PSA back in the late 60’s. So see, there is something in a name.
